NC Soccer Club Rules and Regulations


Indoor Game Rules

-Games are 2x25 minutes
-U8 thru U12 play 6 on the field + a goalkeeper. U13 and above play 5 on the field + a goalkeeper.
-There is no offsides.
-Passback to goalkeeper is not permitted at any time from anywhere on the field. (except in coed, open mens, and over 30 mens leagues)
-Ball hitting the ceiling is placed on the center of the nearest line (center circle).
-Balls kicked/thrown out of play are restarted next to the wall where it went out of play.
-All kicks are DIRECT. Minor fouls inside the penalty area may be brought outside of the area.
-No player may throw/kick the ball over all three lines (in the air) without touching the wall or a player. If this occurs the ball is restarted on the center spot of the first line it crossed.
-Slide tackling IS permitted in all divisions EXCEPT: COED, 30+ MEN and WOMEN.
-Substitutions are on the fly. Guaranteed substitutions are allowed on any restart with referee acknowledgement. Substitutions are NOT guaranteed during the last minute of a half.
-Referees shall allow a penalty kick to be taken even if time has expired.
-FIGHTING IS NOT PERMITTED AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Individuals or teams fighting WILL be removed from the league without refund.
-Youth teams losing by more than 6 goals may add an additional player

Coed Rules
All rules are the same except the following:
-Teams must have at least 3 females on the field. A female playing Goalkeeper DOES NOT count towards the 3 female players.
-There is a 2 goal limit per player (male or female)
-Females take all free kicks
-No slide tackling (Goalkeeper may slide within the penalty area)

Facility Rules
- Individuals utilizing this facility do so at their own risk. The property owner(s), league operators, officers, owners, and staff (NC) NC Soccer Club assume no liability for any injuries or accidents, which may occur. Please reference Waiver/Release Forms signed by each player.
- Should you find or lose any items please report this immediately to a NC Soccer Club. NC Soccer Club does not assume responsibility for any items lost or stolen.
- Any returned checks will be assessed a $30.00 returned check fee.
- Conduct within the facility should be in the sprit of good sportsmanship as is on the field. Please no alcohol or drugs use prior to playing.
- NO outside alcohol, smoking, cleats, glass containers, or gum allowed in NC Soccer Club.
- NO food, chewing tobacco, drinks, spitting, profanity, and abusive language allowed on the fields.
- NO spitting, profanity, abusive language, and outside food brought into NC Soccer Club.
- We reserve the right to refuse play and or service to anyone.
- Zero Tolerance Policy - Anyone fighting will be ejected. Anyone threatening or stalking another player, staff, official or spectator will also be ejected and reported to the local authorities.
- No individual will be allowed to participate in any league games, practice session, tournaments, clinic, open pick-up game, or other activities until an online Waiver/Release form has been properly completed and digitally signed.
- First Aid - The facility has a limited first aid kit. It shall be the responsibility of each team to maintain their own first aid kit for treatment of their players.
- Teams are registered on a first come, first served basis. A team fee will be refunded only if a team is not offered a position in a league / division determined to be appropriate for the team. Registration must be paid in full before the first game is played. Teams dropping out of, or disqualified from a league will forfeit their registration fees. Discounts for team registration may be available from time to time in certain leagues.
- NO Reschedules for any reason. All scheduling conflicts should be stated on the registration form, we will make every effort to work around them.
